Loquita started as a mother-daughter design house.
Together, we have almost a half-century of experience designing and hand-crafting heirloom quality bags designed to be passed down.
From the initial design concept to the final creation - each bag is handmade by us in our studio on Salt Spring Island, ensuring it is made with attention and care.
We gather forgotten luxury materials—upholstery offcuts, leather remnants and fabrics once meant for something grand — and give them another life.
What began as a love of fabric and form has become a lifelong devotion to the beauty of what can be saved, mended and reimagined.
